I was reading Psalm 46 and in the first verse It says, “Elohim is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” As the Holy Spirit pulled me into praying the scripture, I was reminded that God is our refuge because He is the Wall of fire around us, He is our protection and covering. He is also our strength because He is the glory within us, His light shines brightly and becomes our strength as we stay in His presence. This understanding came from Zechariah 2:5, where God says He will be the wall of fire all around her, and He will be the glory in her midst.
As children of God, we have our Fathers protection as well as the fullness of HIs Spirit within us. There is no lack when it comes to the believer's life, whether that is spiritual or physical.
